Las Farolas Attracts 200,000 Visitors

Nearly 200,000 visitors in the last 11 months visited Las Farolas, the newest tourist and educational destination in Pasig City.

Students from both private and public educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the provinces along with local and foreign tourists make up the crowd along with employees from the government and private sectors.

The museum of river monsters, Las Farolas, which opened in April 2013, has more than 3,000 species of freshwater fish species which are housed in two hubs that serve as their “sanctuary.” The species are part of the over 12,000 exotic collection of its owner Henry Babiera from various parts of the world.
