Survivor at Caramoan

Caramoan Island in Camarines Sur province has been chosen once again as the location of an edition of the hit reality game show Survivor.  Survivor shot the two international versions of the show on the island in the past.  This time, Survivor Israel is filming another edition of Hisardot (Survivor) at the Gota Village Resort in Caramoan. The show is to be telecast in Israel until June 2010, according to a report by People's Tonight.

"Survivor Israel has once more given the Philippines a one-of-a-kind exposure, reinforcing what it has done last year, that is, promoting a sampling of the country through Caramoan, as one of the world's top travel destinations," said Tourism Secretary Ace Durano.

Caramoan first became an international sensation in 2008 when the French Survivor show, "Koh-Lanta Caramoan" was shot on the island.  Survivor Bulgaria was also filmed in Caramoan.
