Sky Pasada suspends operations

The management of the Sky Pasada has temporarily suspended its operations in all flight routes while it corrects safety issues of its aircrafts upon orders of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) for much safer air travel, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

Mr. Ramon Guico III, Sky Pasada president and CEO, said the suspension of operations is in accordance with the directive of CAAP for the improvement and safety specifications of their aircrafts, LET-410.  On 8th June 2010, CAAP notified the airline company to perform corrective measures on the safety of their aircrafts and make sure that the same will be compliant to international standards by 1st July 2010.
