PAL Stops Domestic Flights

Philippine Airlines (PAL) stopped most of its domestic flights beginning Aug. 1, to concentrate on its international flights.  It transferred its passengers to budget unit PAL Express.

TigerAir Offers Manila to Phuket Flights

PAL Flying to Europe

The European Union has lifted a three- year-old flight ban on Philippine Airlines Inc. (PAL) and a 15-month prohibition on Venezuela’s Conviasa under the latest changes to a list of unsafe carriers, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Visitors looking for a fine beach destination are in for a treat at Laiya Beach in San Juan, Batangas.  Located about 130 kilometers south of Metro Manila, Laiya can be reached in just two hours and 30 minutes by car.  San Juan is located in the southeastern portion of Batangas province, bounded by Tayabas Bay and Verde Passage on the east.  It has 42 villages, including the coastal barangays of Hugom, Laiya-Aplaya and Laiya-Ibabao.

Non-Gambling Side of Macau

The average temperature in Macau (22.7 degrees Celsius) is about four degrees cooler than in the Philippines (26.6 degrees).  Aside from St. Paul’s, a tour of Senado Square leads to a public venue paved with wave-patterned stone mosaic.  It is also famous for its souvenir shops and stores.
