Dusit Thani Manila

Dusit Thani Manila has recently unveiled its newly repainted, state-of-the-art monochromatic beige-colored facade to complete the final leg of its massive US$20-million renovation.

“It is overwhelming to note that Dusit Thani Manila notably plays as the city’s milepost, having been on the stretch of EDSA for 33 years. Located just 15 minutes’ away from the country’s major convention centres and 25 minutes from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, it has become a landmark to first-time tourists as they enter the gateway to the country’s central financial district. I guess, now more than ever, it has become a glorious historical sight with its innovative look,” says Prateek Kumar, Dusit Thani Manila general manager.
Recently, Dusit Thani Manila was launched as a Thai-style landmark after it embarked on a $20-million, hotel-wide renovation in 2007 that was fully completed in 2009.
The renovation included all 538 guestrooms and suites especially designed to create an experience of timeless and unique Thai traditions: ultimate solace and guest satisfaction; the grand lobby made of black granite floors and colossal gold posts using real gold leaf, and the grand ballroom along with 11 other meeting and board rooms that boast of state-of-the-art facilities.
