Grand Hyatt Hotel Bonifacio Global City

Grand Hyatt Hotel will soon rise on a 1.5 hectare lot at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig at a cost of around US$300 million.  Once completed, the 66-storey hotel, will be promoted as a six-star luxury hotel and managed by the Hyatt Group.

It will have 400 rooms and will be the second hotel in the Bonifacio Global City after the Shangri-La Hotel, which will also open by 2014. Grand Hyatt Hotel will be one of the tallest and biggest mixed-use buildings in the Philippines when it is completed by the end of 2014.

The Hyatt Group is a global hospitality firm with 453 properties as of end-2010. It manages, franchises, owns and develops Hyatt branded hotels, resorts, residences and vacation ownership properties around the world.

Federal Land, the developer of the hotel, said the first six floors of the building shall house the hotel podium and ballroom, while grade A financial and corporate offices will occupy the eighth to the 30th floors.

The new development will also offer premium facilities and services, with the luxury suites and other hotel amenities to be housed from the 30th to the penthouse levels.

Federal Land's other high-end projects include the high-rise luxury residences The Grand Midori Makati and The Residences and Two Residences in Cebu.

Federal Land, which is also the developer of the 329-room Marco Polo Hotel in Cebu City, said the Grand Hyatt will be comparable to the iconic structures in the United States, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.
