Jin Jiang Hotel Philippines
Food manufacturer Liwayway Marketing Corporation has signed a brand licensing contract with the Jinjiang International Hotel Investments Co. to invest US$850 million in economy hotels in the Philippines. The signing was witnessed by no less than President Benigno Aquino III in his state visit to China last week. Jinjiang sees good potential in the Philippine tourism sector.
Jin Jiang, which also operates the five largest tourist agencies in China, has also committed to bring two million Chinese tourists to the Philippines by 2016. Jinjiang CEO Zurong Xu said they see good potential in the Philippine tourism sector.
