Resorts World Manila

Unknown to many, a large complex of hotels and entertainment centers has transformed the skyline of Pasay City near the Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.  The world-class hotels and resorts, collectively called Resorts World Manila, would easily attract the attention of Cebu Pacific passengers using Terminal 3.  The complex is a part of the Bagong Nayong Pilipino Entertainment City Manila.

Built by Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., the joint venture of Alliance Global Group, Inc. of businessman Andrew Tan and Star Cruises Ltd. of the Genting Group, Resorts World Manila is located in the Newport City, which is developed as a world class leisure and entertainment destination.

Resorts World Manila with Italian architecture is comprised of 342-room Marriott Hotel, 172-suite Maxims Hotel, Reminton Hotel, and the soon-to-be-built 540-room Hamilton Hotel.  The whole complex will have a total of 1,900 rooms by 2012.  Two more hotels are being planned on the same site.

Maxims Manila will have a 30,000 square-meter casino and 172 all-suite rooms, with personal butler services and furnished with state-of-the-art facilities.

The Manila Marriott, which opened in August, 2009, is the first new 5-star international standard hotel to open in Metro Manila over the past five years.

Resorts World Manila will also have a 1,030-seat performing arts theater, restaurants, entertainment centers, cinemas and a 30,000-square-meter shopping mall.
